Post Occupancy Evaluation

Help future patients by sharing your West Park experience

Feedback needed

To help patients get their lives back, we’re building a new hospital! And to ensure we continue to provide exemplary care and operational excellence in the new building, as part of the Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) initiative, we need your help! Patients, physicians, staff, friends and family are invited to contribute valuable feedback on their West Park experience, via a short 30 – 45 minute survey.

The FYI on the POE

WHAT?

POE is a new research initiative between West Park and the MOHLTC. POE will assess and evaluate the outcomes of the new hospital design objectives through data collection prior to, and following, new building completion.

WHY?

POE will help us measure the impact on our quality of care, safety, operational efficiencies and the overall user experience, to ensure we continue to provide exemplary care and operational excellence. The project will result in a comprehensive report regarding the efficacy of specific design elements, and will allow West Park to make new and valuable contributions to evidence-based hospital design outcomes and existing scientific literature.

WHEN?

Pre-construction data collection is expected to start October 2017.

WHERE?

POE data collection will take place throughout West Park.

WHO?
West Park patients, physicians, staff, friends and family members.

HOW CAN I CONTRIBUTE?

We need your help! The West Park community is encouraged to provide valuable feedback by taking part in a short 30 - 45 minute survey. To participate in this important study, please contact 416-243-3600 ext. 2111 or POE@westpark.org.
