As a leader in the provision of specialized rehabilitation and complex continuing care, the Centre recognizes a responsibility to promote sustainable health service delivery and practice environmentally responsible operations in effort to minimize its overall environmental impact.

Environmental Committee

Interdisciplinary relationships are the foundation of West Park’s capacity to deliver quality care. The success of West Park’s Environmental Committee is rooted in the same foundation. That is why we have established a committee comprised of staff, volunteers and patients from all areas of the hospital, to ensure environmental sustainability is achieved and monitored at every level of operation.

If you are a staff member, a volunteer or a patient interested in joining the environmental committee, please contact us! We warmly welcome all new members. If you simply have an environmental issue you’d like to bring to our attention, or have an idea about how to make the Centre more environmentally sustainable, please speak to us! We tackle all issues and embrace all ideas, no matter how big or small.
