While working throughout his career primarily in the financial services sector, Warren has been very active in oversight roles in the health care sector.
Warren is an Ontario lawyer, with his LL.B. and LL.M. degrees both from Osgoode Hall Law School. He completed the Directors Education Program at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Business in 2005 and he has also attended advanced management programs in the U.K. (at Cambridge University) and in Switzerland.
In the financial services sector, Warren has worked mostly on strategic, policy and regulatory issues at both the national and global levels. He is co-founder of the Small Financial Institutions Forum.
In the health care sector, Warren has had a number of oversight roles. He was a member of the Finance, Investment and Audit Committee of Canada Health Infoway for 8 years. He was on the Board of Directors (retiring as Vice Chair) of The Scarborough Hospital for 6 years. Since 2008, he has served as an Order-in-Council appointee on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Public Health Agency.
Warren currently is the Board Chair, West Park Healthcare Centre and has been a Board member at West Park since 2013.
